This series of photographs transports the viewer to the tranquil landscapes of Japanese islands. Weathered, overgrown and lonely scenes reflect the hidden loneliness in Japanese society, where objects serve as silent witnesses of forgotten memories and unfulfilled desires.
In the midst of these tranquil moments, however, a certain beauty reveals itself. Embracing the impermanence of human presence as an integral part of the Japanese landscape. Each image captures a moment of stillness, inviting the viewer to discover the deeper meaning that lies behind the forgotten corners of society.
This series pays homage to the forgotten beauty of Japan and invites the viewer to explore the deeper layers of loneliness and beauty contained in these tranquil landscapes.
