‘My uncle, the forester’

A photo series about my uncle, Paul, the forest ranger of ‘De Stippelberg’, de Rips. Recently retired, but still found in the forest every day. After retirement, you are not allowed anymore to live in the forest house. Only for this reason he had to leave the house he was born and raised, moving to a smaller house in the village a few kilometers away.
But still, the forest is the place where he feels at home. This forest and all its creatures are his playground, one that will be his forever home. You can still find hem there every day, being surrounded by the trees he grew up with and used to know his whole life.
“I know every tree of this forest.”
